Happy Friday!
Welcome to #Cammunity Chatter, an occasional roundup of some of the best and sassiest social media statements that speak.
Let’s start with Shawna Leneé’s check of a fellow tweeter.
Nope. That's not how it works with government officials. https://t.co/k1SXn0ryA3

Her statement in in response to this:
Hey Trump Haters, if you don’t like him and yet you still watch everything he does, you’re a fan.
— Ryan Fournier (@RyanAFournier) March 14, 2018
And she’s right. People can hate on U.S. President Donald Trump, and any other politician for that matter, and still follow news about said politician and not be a fan. In fact, I think the real phrase for that type of behavior is “engaged citizen.”
Next up is Lindsey Banks. We feel her dislike for all people who pretend to be nice, only to take jabs at people later.
More people should definitely call out this unacceptable “nice guy, girl” behavior. So, thanks for being that “bitch,” gurl — you’re a sweetheart!
I hate assholes who THINK they are nice, but they definitely are NOT. They not used to a bitch sayin how it is. So here I am!

Janice Griffith brought up a great point about the racialization of porn. Put simply: labels matter, people.
you added race. that is racializing. not once in the scene do i reference either of our ethnic backgrounds. i PURPOSELY do not shoot for sites that label my scenes IR/market them as "BLACK"-anything. don't care if it's a "compliment" or not, respect my wishes or don't post me. https://t.co/7lD0c29vHK

Griffith is responding to this statement from Lindsay C:
Part 2 of 3: Whenever I, along with many other White and Asian female pornstars, use the term "big black cock," it is meant to be a compliment to black men and their sexual prowess. It is not meant to racialize the scene, as you claim. @IsiahxxxMaxwell @BangBrosDotCom

Lux Alptraum, the always insightful writer and cultural observer extraordinaire, brought our attention to a new concept. It’s called “microcheating.”
I just discovered the concept of "microcheating" and from what I can tell it can best be defined as, "Having an emotional and social life beyond just your relationship with one monogamous partner," or, you know, being an emotionally well adjusted adult.
— Lux ? Alptraum (@LuxAlptraum) March 14, 2018
We totally agree. A good relationship is all about communication. This new cheating definition is not helpful or useful. Talk it out, people!
We’re also really happy Alptraum tweeted this out because it sparked an idea. We’d like to hear your thoughts on microcheating, and similar terms that have popped up over the past few years. If you’re interested in joining the conversation, reach out to me at abbie@ynotcam.com.
Lastly for today, some great advice from Riley Reyes. You can make a difference in political decisions without outing yourself to anyone.
Clearing up some confusion. You don't have to out yourself on the phone. No need to say you're a sex worker, just that you oppose the bill. Remember to call today! It takes 5 min and could save lives! #StopSESTA #survivorsagainstsesta #LetUsSurvive https://t.co/X8xER5cleS

That’s it for this week. And as always, thanks for tweeting out awesome, insightful tweets! You all make social media worth, well, keeping.
