Las Vegas hosts over 6 million visitors annually, nearly triple the population of the city’s metropolitan area. People come to Vegas to celebrate, to party, to celebrate and party while they are supposed to be working and to basically do a bunch of things they can’t (or shouldn’t… or won’t) do when they’re at home.
The abundance of vices can leave even the most seasoned partier feeling under the weather, a fact known all too well by local healthcare professionals. During her time as a Vegas paramedic, Jennabea Sturman realized that a large number of patients being transported to the hospital didn’t really need emergency medical care.
Enter ReSquared Medical.
The vision of two doctors and two paramedics (Sturman included), ReSquared is a concierge medical service that brings intravenous nutrient therapy and vitamin shots to overextended visitors and locals – rehydrating, rejuvenating and keeping you out of the ER. Sturman will be offering in-room services during this year’s Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE). We talked to her about her work, specifically about the benefits of getting relief from “too much fun” in Vegas via ReSquared, versus making a trip to the ER.
YNOT Cam: Can you tell us how you went from working in the adult industry to starting ReSquared Medical?
Jennabea Sturman: I used to work in adult as an affiliate manager. I left to pursue a career in personal training and ultimately transitioned to paramedic medicine.
I worked as a paramedic on the busy streets of Las Vegas for seven years, when realized a need in the healthcare system. There were too many people — tourists and locals alike — that were calling 911 for the wrong reason. We were getting called out to people who were drunk, hungover or dehydrated – people who didn’t necessarily fit the criteria of an “emergency,” however they didn’t know another way.
ReSquared Medical allows people to take care of themselves without having to call 911. Most of the services a hospital provides we can offer in the comfort of their own room, for a fraction of the time and cost. Why might ReSquared Medical be important to know about during convention time?
People don’t realize that whenever you come to Vegas, you’re prone to get what we call “Vegas Syndrome” — which means people come here, don’t sleep, eat rich foods, drink way more than necessary and put their bodies in so much transitional shock that after a couple days it’ll give out.
I know AEE is especially hard because it’s in the middle of other holidays and conventions. After a few weeks of drinking and partying, it’s no wonder why people get completely wiped out by the end. Hell, I remember having to sleep an extra week after some of the conventions just to get back to feeling normal.
Getting an IV infusion is the quickest and easiest way to refuel your body and get back to feeling normal – or, to be able to party like a rockstar and still get your work done the next morning.

What specific services will you be offering during convention time?
Services will be available 24/7 throughout the convention, as well as for people coming to town before and staying after. Every service is different, however cost roughly averages to $150 – $250 per service, which includes travel cost, consultation, infusion and additional medicine/supplements.
Appointments can usually happen within two hours after calling to make a reservation, and the service itself takes up to an hour. People can call or text 702.850.0732 to make an appointment or ask any questions they may have.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t ask: What are signs that a person needs to go to seek medical services versus an infusion?
The IM (intramuscular) shots are beneficial for people who are dehydrated, in a time crunch and just need a little pick me up. Our B12 injection shots take a minute, and you get sustained natural energy for three to five days. Our IV infusions have a combination of vitamins, medicine and supplements in a liter of saline, which is slowly infused into the body. This is for people who need a full body reset – are hungover, jetlagged, exhausted, have food poisoning, etc. Our staff is comprised of certified nurses and paramedics that have years of experience recognizing the signs that someone maybe experiencing a medical emergency.
With all that being said, every person undergoes a consultation prior to an infusion. There the healthcare professional can ask questions, take vitals and make a decision whether you fit the criteria to benefit from IV therapy or need to be referred to the hospital.
