Being an online content creator in today’s world is a process — learning the game is a process, changing and evolving said game is another process and one’s online identity is a process as well.
Case in point: When we interviewed Chalk, she was “Chalk Suicide.” But today, she is “Chalk Dabs.” Ebbing and flowing and growing online, clearly, is a constant evolution.
Let’s learn more about changing in real time with Chalk — read on!

YNOT Cam: Can you tell us a bit about who you are?
Chalk: My name is Chalk! I have been in the industry since I turned 18, and I’m 26 now. I am from Texas, born and raises! Something most people don’t know about me is I’ve been studying three languages. I can speak Spanish, a little bit of Italian and very little Latin.
I wanted to be in Playboy since I was young, though I have no idea how that started! My goals changed, but I always stayed the same as far as wanting to be a naked pinup model. I began my modeling career right after I turned 18.

What are some of the best things about your career? What about challenges?
The highlights are honestly endless. I have met countless friends and all of my best friends through the online community of models. I have been given the opportunity to travel the world with those friends and make beautiful art in the process. I’m truly lucky!
The challenges are also plenty though. Dealing with people online who have a sense of anonymity and security behind a screen can be difficult, for one. We’ve all been there! I’ve also found that the line between work and play can be obscure and, in turn, when to stop working and make time for other things.
Everyone has their own way of doing things, and I’ve found that it’s important to give yourself time to figure out what works best for you and your life.
Can you tell us about your name? “Chalk” is so interesting! [Author’s note: Chalk was using “Chalk Suicide” when we asked this question.]
My name was chosen on a bit of a whim, actually! I was having trouble coming up with a name for the SuicideGirls application. I looked over at a SPLAT hair chalk magazine ad I had taped to my closet door and thought it was a good fit.
I have many colors just like SPLAT does — just check out my hair evolution! I chose Moon as a second name for my camming because I thought Chalk was a bit short, and I wanted something that matches my personality and who I am. I love the moon, so Moon it was!
Oh wow, SuicideGirls! There’s such a long history there…
I joined SuicideGirls in 2013, literally days after my 18th birthday. I had dreamed of becoming a SuicideGirl since I was 15.
I’ve since been with the site for nine years and have had just over a dozen sets released on the site. I’ve made some amazing, important relationships in those nine years and wouldn’t be where I am today without the site. I am currently the admin for their Southern US SG Instagram, have shot my first set as a photographer and just released my first cosplay set!
They have been around for a very long time as far as websites go and have been through a lot of changes with, no doubt, more to come. Today, SuicideGirls remains a wonderful community that has connected so many models all over the world — not only with each other, but the members of the community as well.
Outside of your work, what are you most passionate about?
I am so lucky to have a career that centers on what I’m passionate about: modeling, beautiful humans and beautiful art. Outside of that, I would say I’m most passionate about environmentalism. I hate to see a beautiful planet destroyed by greed and do my best to do my part to lessen my carbon footprint as much as possible.
If you could change one thing about today’s world, what would it be and why?
I would want people to care less… and also more!
Care less about what others are doing, what others think, how they live their lives… But on that same note, care more about other living beings, care more about the homeless, more about the wasted food that ends up in landfills and more about the earth and its inhabitants.
