PARIS – French erotic film studio Marc Dorcel is not holding auditions in the U.S., the company stated in a general alert distributed Thursday.
According to the notice, “A certain Mr. Thomas Ventura is posing as an agent who claims to work with the Dorcel company. All Marc Dorcel auditions take place exclusively in the company’s headquarters in Paris and are arranged by contacting the company at casting@dorcel.com. No appointments are ever scheduled anywhere other than at the company’s Parisian offices.”
The studio encourages anyone who has been duped by Ventura, or anyone else representing himself or herself as a Dorcel representative, to report the incident by emailing casting@dorcel.com.
