It’s not often that I get to speak with a male cammer (guys hit me up for some interviews!) – these ladies seem to always get the spotlight:).
So, I’m excited to share this interview with Jason Stromm, a very successful content creator who was willing to share his perspective on the business.
Stromm got his start camming during the pandemic and in that short time has already built quite a following. Maybe it’s his incredible tattoos, his niche foot fetish work, or his insane muscles, but fans can’t get enough of him! In fact, they love him so much, they nominated him for Fleshbot’s 2023 Cam Model of the Year which is no easy feat considering the amount of competition out there.
Read below for more about Jason on how he approaches his cam career and makes it work.
How did you get your start and what brought you to the industry?
I started camming because I didn’t want to have a job anymore where people force me to do things against my will – I don’t fit into the world of job slavery.
Camming then led me to become a foot model which I found a lot of success in. After I got my tattoos I was contacted by Hussie Models to shoot for SeeHimFuck and I’ve been shooting my own POV content on the side the whole time.
I got most of my “fame” from the foot world though, check out this video to see what I do to keep them looking good.
You have a lot of great tattoos, which are your favorites?
I really like the girl’s face on my forearm. The artist did a really good job on that piece. Not sure I have a favorite because in a sense it’s all one big tattoo. All done by one artist within two months in Thailand. I went for five-hour sessions over the course of 41 days adding up to more than 200 hours in total. The tattoos cover nearly my whole body.
They were done at the Bloodline Tattoo in Thailand and cost $14,800 which was a huge discount because I had it done right after the pandemic and the parlor needed the business. I had saved for quite a long time to get them done and I don’t regret a single tattoo, I love them all.
What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
I think when I tell people that I got all my tattoos done in 41 days, it surprises them a lot.
What is the most important thing a cammer can do to remain competitive in the industry?
Treat camming like you are going to a 9-5. Even though you are free and have flexible hours, it’s still a really good idea to stick to a schedule.
Also, another thing that a lot of camming clients compliment me on is me being nice to them. Which surprises me but I think it’s smart to be nice to your fans/clients/customers… they pay your bills.
What type of preparation goes into your shows?
For me before I start, I make sure my lighting is on point, my music is going, and I’m dressed for the show or… undressed hahaha.
What are your goals for 2024?
My goal for 2024 is to make it onto a reality TV show like Love Island.
