If you feel like you’re swimming in an ocean of content creators doing all the same thing it may be time to consider finding what your niche is.
Granted, content that is focused often has a smaller audience, however, you’ll find that being a big fish in a small pond can really add up in dollars if you commit to it, do your due diligence, and really go for it.
This week I speak with Roxie Rae, a content creator who did just that. Initially she discovered foot fetish work was her ticket to a successful career then branched out to a few other different types of kinks, eventually making the leap into producing and owning her own sites.
Learn more about Roxie and her sites in this YNOT Cam interview where she was kind enough to share some of her secrets on getting into niches and why she finds it so gratifying. Enjoy!
Talk to us about how you got your start and how you decided to get into foot fetish work.
I was stripping when I found out about doing fetish work. I had a client that used to come into the club that I worked at, and he would take me into the VIP rooms to foot dominate him. It was a lot of fun punishing him under my feet and having that control.
From there I started shooting fetish for other companies to build my name, I found it was something I loved, fun, and feasible. I began to create my own content and start my sites working with other models doing trade and hiring girls to come shoot.
You recently took over the “Bratty Babes Own You” site. This is a lot of work for you along with the other sites you run as well – Roxie Rae Foot Fetish, The Foot Fantasy, Best Wedgies and Karate Domination. What drew you to being a producer and running your own sites?
It is a lot of work, but I love doing it.
Besides feet, pantyhose is my next favorite fetish and I think having the Bratty Babes Own You store is a good fit for my brand. I have been transitioning more into the role of producer from model and hope to continue to build my company and little fetish empire. I love the opportunities I have in this industry with schedule flexibility and residual income, and I love working with the models who come to shoot for me.
What advice do you have for cammers who are interested in getting into the foot fetish niche?
I think it’s good to network and work for a variety of established foot fetish studios to get your name out there. Social media, promoting, and having a wide range of platforms that you keep up regularly is really important too. To become a model who is repeatedly hired it’s imperative to show up prepared for the shoot, on time, and looking your best. What you put into it, is what you will get out of it.
How much time on average do you spend on creating your own content and how do you stay motivated to come up with new ideas and show up to cam?
This is a full-time job for me and like owning your own business, the work never stops. I work over 40 hours a week and sometimes up to 80 hours a week. I try to shoot 2-3 days a week and sometimes more. I think the fans keep me very motivated, I love receiving their positive feedback and requests.
What are your goals for 2024?
My goals for 2024 are to focus on filming and producing for The Foot Fantasy and Bratty Babes Own You sites. I also really look forward to meeting and filming with new models and as always, having my core models back to shoot more content.
