Fourteen years in the industry, with numerous nominations and wins under her belt like AVN’s BBW Performer of the Year, the Cammy Awards’ Curvaceous Performer of the Year and Queen of Cams, BBW Awards’ Best Girl/Girl Performer, and BBWCON/Biggie Awards and Alternate Media Awards’ Performer of the Year, Angel seemed to show no signs of stopping.
Then one day… she did.
Angel had the courage to step away from adult for her own personal reasons, and then when she was ready… she came back!
Read on to learn more about Angel who reminds us that the most important thing we can do is take care of ourselves. No matter how successful your career is, your mental health comes first. The industry can wait. And it has – now feeling better and stronger than ever, Angel is the comeback kid, once again taking the industry by storm.
How did you get started and what was the impetus to take a hiatus from the industry?
My neighbors wanted a wife swap, but my wife (now ex-wife) and I weren’t into them. So, they suggested a cam site called MyFreeCams and asked us to cam there so they could at least watch us while we fucked.
I took a hiatus from the industry mainly for mental health reasons.
I wanted to ensure I was mentally there for my fans, so I took the necessary steps and stepped away. I wanted to make sure that I could give my 110% when I came back.
What did you learn while you were gone that makes you a stronger happier performer today?
I learned that you can’t allow others in the industry to influence your choices and what you do for your career.
I’m also choosing to surround myself with positive people this go around.
I will still be helping people (if they want it). I want to show those new to the industry that some people aren’t fake and won’t screw them over. We get enough hate from the outside world and shouldn’t be hating on each other. We should be helping one another be more successful and not seeing others as competition because everyone is different.
What do you think is the most important skill you need to have to be a successful cammer?
The most important skill to be a successful cammer is always to have self-respect and self-worth.
Never be afraid to say no, and never do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
Just be yourself and have fun; everyone has their own thing that gets them off, so the more you do what you love, the more you drive people towards you who love the same. Never try to be anybody else; it doesn’t work and is a lot more work than just being you. Also, don’t forget to interact with your fans. Show them your personality, and don’t be afraid to be you!
What excites you most about being back in the industry?
What excites me the most is shooting with all the amazing people and companies I have shot with in the past.
There are so many terrific people. Another big reason is to give my fans new content and new reasons to love me even more. Also, getting new fans who didn’t know about me before is exciting.
I can’t wait to make more content for my new and current fans who love and support me.
What goals do you have for 2023?
My goals for this year are to go big.
I’m starting to shoot new types of content, have new adventures, start a podcast, get more back into my Twitch, and begin camming again. I want to show more of myself than just my sex worker side. I’m always looking for ways to give my fans more reasons to love and support me.
