Last month, we took an in depth look at one of the biggest websites that NSFW content creators use to monopolize their content.
With one of the biggest downfalls of that website being the fact that there is no marketing inside the platform itself, which makes it more difficult to sell your content if you are a new creator, we will now take a look at a site that not only gives you many different options to sell your content but one in which you can gain traffic from inside the platform itself — Fancentro.
The Rise of Fancentro
Fancentro was created with the idea in mind to sell subscriptions to mainstream social media accounts, such as a premium snapchat or instagram story, in order to sell NSFW content that they were posting to these private stories. Nowadays, however, it’s difficult to post any sex-related content to social media accounts without that content being taken down for guideline violations and accounts being banned for too many violations.
With the constant shadowbanning and account deactivations that content creators were facing when posting their uncensored, and even some censored content, Fancentro then began to let users sell subscriptions to feeds directly within the platform itself. And unlike OnlyFans, where you must market outside of the platform in order to gain traffic to your feed, Fancentro also gives you the ability to build your audience inside its platform.
Mistress Vice, who has been using Fancentro now for about two years, says that although she doesn’t use the platform to its fullest potential she is impressed with the amount of improvements they have made since she has joined. She loves that traffic is not all self driven, like on OnlyFans, and she has noticed that the website seems to be gaining in popularity.
When the website saw some significant growth after the Covid-19 pandemic put a halt to mainstream adult production, it launched its own business school for adult content creators called Centro University, which according to Mistress Vice is one of their best features. These online webinars taught by fellow sex workers are free for anyone using the platform and discuss many different topics such as promoting your content, staying safe on the internet and legalities of the business.
Ins & Outs of Fancentro
After signing up for Fancentro you will see your homepage as an “influencer,” which is where you will post your content that your customers have the option to purchace. Then there is the “directory” page where you will find all the trending stories, performers who are on live and top influencers. The directory page is where the customers can go to search for creators who fit their personal preference. As a member of the Fancentro website, you have access to both of these pages.
With Fancentro there are many different ways to sell your content. The option of a recurring offer lets you sell monthly access to premium Snapchat or Instagram stories. When selling access to a premium social media account customers will first purchase a subscription. Once they buy the subscription they will appear on your Fancentro dashboard to let you know that they want to gain access to that premium content. You then must accept their request to follow you on that platform and mark it complete on the Fancentro dashboard.
As another recurring offer you can sell a monthly subscription to your Fancenro feed. Like many other platforms, there is a stories feature which can be included in the subscription, as well as an option for live streaming. There are also perks such as access to your dropbox, custom videos, sexting and even giving out your personal phone number. If you choose that, you can list as a one time offer. If there is something that you would like to sell that is not listed, you have the option to create your own perk.
Users that come to your page have the option to follow your profile for free or become a subscriber for your subscription price. So when you are posting content you can post some free censored content to help entice customers to buy and then the uncensored content can be posted for subscribers only. Keep in mind that there is no nudity allowed on public posts and any NSFW content posted for your followers who haven’t subscribed will be flagged and removed.

Fancentro Downfalls
While there are a lot of features that make Fancentro stick out as a platform for content creators to post their uncensored content to, there are also some things that could be improved on. The biggest downfall according to Mistress Vice involves the creation of their subscription offers. This is what she says keeps her from using the website to its fullest potenial. While setting up your offers you must get the offer description and details perfect because there is no option to edit that offer once you’ve hit the finish button.
Although minor in her opinion, Mistress Vice states that she would like the website to be a little bit more user friendly for creators. The directory page is the default page when you first log into the website, so if you are an influencer wanting to post new content you must make a few clicks before you see your influencer page. As a content creator, Mistress Vice would like to be able to go right to her influencer page upon logging in.
Masked Milf, a new creator to the platform, enjoys using the website but would like to see geo blocking added to the directory page. And while the website does let creators gain traffic inside the platform, she would like to see performers rotated on the directory page instead of it being for top performers. She says this would help newer creators with a smaller social media following gain more traffic to their pages.
