There’s always at least 53 Should I/Shouldn’t I debates swirling around within the online sex work and content creator/influencer world. One longstanding one that only ever seems to change in terms of swapping out platforms is [Hot Website]: Should I spend my time, or nah?
This decision is currently most focused on TikTok. One of the hottest sites for everyone on earth right now, one big issue surrounding TikTok is whether or not plugging into a significant larger social narrative and possibly getting some of the spoils that come therein is worth the time, energy and general life suck that comes with a) getting on a new platform and b) getting on a new platform that can and likely will cancel you for no reason other than you’re affiliated with sex work in some other corner of the internet.
(Aside: We all know that getting on TikTok and overtly promoting one’s sex work work is a recipe for immediate banning, so we don’t even need to discuss that. We’re talking spending time creating and sharing cutesy dance videos and so on that just happen to be from someone who also sells sexiness somewhere else… somewhere else that’s entirely unlinked.)
Related to the [Hot Website]: Should I spend my time, or nah? of this specific Should I/Shouldn’t I debate is the whole “Should I spend my time on ‘the [XXX] of adult’?” decision.
We’ve all heard this type of thing before — the Oscars of Porn, the upwork of Adult, the Hollywood Reporter for content creators. This applies to apps and online services as well. But unlike the actual TikTok or the actual Instagram or the actual upwork for that matter, do these “…of porn” entities have the same cache (read: traffic and money-making potential juice)? And, as such, the debate then emerges: Do spend your time where the chopping block is essentially inevitable, or do you venture to another less saturated space that’s not as trafficked?
This debate was once again raised for me when some press material for Qwki.org came my way. Self-dubbed as “TikTok for porn,” this site plugs seamlessly into this debate: Should you spend your time, or nah? Put another way, do you invest in a space that is not as well-known as, for instance, TikTok… but also certainly is not going to kick you off simply for being you? If only there was a definitive answer!
Here’s some press about the site. What do you think?

Qwki.org, a new social network for adults, has been quietly building a following over the past year. The site is currently reporting topping 100,000 viewers per month.
Dubbed “TikTok for porn” thanks to its one-minute vertical-format videos, Qwki is made exclusively for mobile (iOS + Android) users. Select a carnal desire on the homepage and make magic happen in minutes.
“What’s unique about Qwki is that anybody can post and get attention without followers,” said a company rep. “Simply share your one-of-a-kind short-form videos and somebody will see it… if it’s good, many people will!”
Qwki content creators are also able to utilize the network in order to promote their other platforms, lock selected videos to earn extra revenue and share their profile URL directly.
“We are committed to offering adult content that, unlike other popular networks, embraces sex and sexuality; there’s unfortunate censorship around everything mainstream – we couldn’t create an app because of iOS and Android’s moderation guidelines, but made the site as close to an app as possible,” the rep added. “Our goal is to make the most modern and open adult site on the internet without unreasonable restrictions, boundaries, banning or blocking.”
Qwki currently offers free unlimited access — no signups or subscriptions required — to several thousand clips (and growing) per category, and their selected personal choices — which include favoriting and commenting — “teach” Qwki to intuitively suggest the next videos for viewing pleasure.
Launched in 2020, adult video-sharing site Qwki is putting short-form original content production into the hands of its users, much to the delight of its adventurous fans! With a concept similar to TikTok, the mobile platform elevates the excitement of erotic voyeurism to unprecedented heights. Models have the opportunity to generate an additional revenue stream and promotional opportunities while viewers have a fresh destination to enjoy adult content and make new connections. Download the web app on iOS and Android at Qwki.org.
