FanCentro recently announced the launch of its newest feature: Premium Twitter subscriptions!
With Premium Twitter subscriptions, FanCentro influencers “can monetize their private Twitter feed and Fleets, Twitter’s new story feature,” FanCentro said in its announcement. Fleets — something new-ish from Twitter — can include text, videos, GIFs or photos. They automatically expire in 24 hours.
Here’s how it works: Fans subscribe to FanCentro creators’ Premium Twitter accounts, giving the platform’s influencers an additional revenue stream. As the company observed in its announcement, with the recent release of Twitter’s Fleets story feature, a subscription to an influencer’s Premium Twitter gives fans an additional way to access their private and exclusive content.
“With a Premium Twitter, the opportunities for promotion and sales are really endless,” said FanCentro Vice President Kat Revenga.
“Because Twitter is already adult-friendly, influencers can do explicit teaser promotions on their public Twitter feed and post the full-length content on their Premium Twitter Fleets,” Revenga added. “The introduction of Fleets has opened up a lot of doors, and we want to give FanCentro influencers the opportunity to take advantage of this new revenue stream.”

As more and more… well, basically — As more and more of the entire internet gets locked down in seemingly arbitrary ways, exploring new ways to monetize via spaces that have not — at least, not yet — found ways to discriminate against the very users that helped build it is at least an interesting idea. This new feature/tool from FanCentro could certainly be useful.
