The first, and probably the most significant, thing you need to know about Suzy Siren is that she’s a mermaid.
In her words, “I’ve been camming for five years so far, I grew up near the beach and I’m clearly a mermaid.”
Siren is also a licensed cosmetologist. “I make faces and hair y’all!” Siren shared. “I actually really love doing makeup and coloring hair.”
Cosmetology, in my opinion, is a truly awesome skill, and a quick look through Siren’s images and timelines shows that she’s pretty damn good at it. It’s also probably really useful to be able to do hair and makeup at this level in conjunction with online content creation.

YNOT Cam: What are some of the best things about working online? What are some challenges?
Suzy Siren: I love having the autonomy to make my own schedule and work when I’m able to. As a person with multiple chronic illnesses, this affords me to take my work with no 9-to-5 expectations. I just have to be self-motivated. It’s a challenge, but I’m totally here for it!
Tell us about being, per your Twitter bio, “Under Da Sea” – do you have an affinity for the ocean? Mermaids? Sebastian?!
Oh my goodness, yes! So, I have an affinity for the ocean and mermaids both. It’s sort of a running theme across folklore regarding mermaids, sirens and my having grown up by the ocean. I also have mermaid tattooed in purple ink across my knuckles, and my entire left arm is covered in ocean/nautical tattoos.
I notice you cosplay Alice in some of your content, but I don’t see any other costumes. What is it about Alice?
I have other costumes, but I feel like until I’ve nailed a makeup or an idea for a video, I don’t want to actually make content with it unless I’m feeling confident in myself. I need to have more self-confidence. Do the things, don’t be scared of the things!
Outside of creative work, what’s your favorite thing to do?
Spoiling my cats and dogs ROTTEN.
If you could change one thing about today’s world, what would it be?
I would like to see THC more recreationally legal across the US.
