Most platforms and phone sex companies have some sort of system in place that allows for the PSO (phone sex operator) to accept tips or tributes. If this is the case for you, then you may be leaving money on the table.
Though many clients end the call by hanging up, even when satisfied, there are plenty that stick around for a bit of pillow talk. This is a moment that many choose to ask for tips. What if you were told, though, that there are some more effective ways?
Setting The Groundwork
That first time you speak with a customer is so important in turning them into a returning customer. If it is possible with the natural flow of conversation, mention how a similar client or romantic interest buys you treats and gifts. This lays the hint that taking care of you makes you want to take care of them in return.
Be careful of mentioning other clients though, as that can be a turnoff for some callers. Gauge the conversation and add in your groundwork slowly. The overall idea is to show them that “something extra” is accepted and expected.
Training Your Customers
Are you not a domme? Don’t worry. Even if your call had nothing to do with power dynamics, you can still train your client on how you want them to treat you. Tipping is no exception here!
Training does begin with the first interaction but becomes more successful with each interaction after. So, the first time you speak to a customer, try to keep it casual and end with the suggestion above. The second time they call, if they tipped, be sure to thank them and tell them how it made you feel. This verbal reward is more incentive to do it again, and we all love knowing we made someone’s day.
Consider recording a thank you note (5-10 seconds) to send to them if you can, this is really a step beyond what most will do. Set up those Pavlovian responses to doing what you want them to do — as well as the reward for doing such.
How to Give a Push
Where many go wrong in asking for tips is giving a shove… not a push. Asking for smaller amounts at first and finding that threshold for that client is essential. Asking too much can scare a caller away forever. When they seem hesitant, back away and re-approach later with a smaller amount.
As the length of the relationship with a caller grows, you will see an increase in how much you generally can ask for. Think about it this way: customers love knowing they will get a certain quality of service. This means they typically are more willing to tip higher for someone they know will handle their needs.
Go for the long game when it comes to enriching that bank account!
It Is All In The Tease
Outright asking for a tip is very ballsy and an admirable tactic, but it is very risky. For those of us who are not supreme thrill seekers, we can usually get them in a more willing mode to spend a bit more by working the voice on the end of the phone up with our ethereal verbal skills.
Keeping them on the edge of an orgasm makes the session far more enjoyable for the majority of clients and causes them to want to spend more on us. Trust that they will remember this feeling too and return to you to achieve it — which means more tips.
Keep the tease level highs and pepper in tip and tribute requests. Try not to make it too often if they seem reluctant.
Not Just for Financial Domination
Some believe that asking for tips makes them a financial domintatrix. There is a difference here though. If you do not want to be a findom, you can still ask for tips. While findoms do typically require tributes, not all who ask for tips are findoms. (Not knocking findoms!) Should you turn down someone who wants to serve you financially? That is totally up to you and your brand.
Remember that phone sex is a premium or luxury service. Valets, bartenders and maids are typically tipped for their work, and we are no different. Work on teaching your customers that you deserve these little extras and that you truly appreciate it when they do. When done subconsciously and smoothly, clients typically have no pushback and actually then grow to value you more!
