Welcome to #Cammunity Chatter, an occasional roundup of some of the best and sassiest social media statements that speak.
It’s May, can you believe it?! It literally just felt like it was Janbruary, which I guess is the power of that six-week-long month, but still. We hope that April’s showers are beginning to clear, and you’re currently enjoying beautiful flowers. While you take in the sounds and feels of spring, consider reading up on a few tweets from your industry faves.
First off, we have Lux Alptraum asking a question we’ve all asked ourselves this week: Do I need to drink water, or am I sad?
Am I depressed or am I dehydrated, a fun game for the whole family!
— Lux “Valkyrie Stan” Alptraum (@LuxAlptraum) April 29, 2019
This question, and the question, “am I really angry or just super hungry,” are things I frequently ask myself, too.
The following is a very helpful — possibly life-saving — tip from Smarty Kat.
I smoke copious amounts of weed and still can't and won't deny she is totally right. Spending time in the gym is never smart when high. It's just plain stupid. Bettering yourself in the gym > getting high. Always. And that's coming from a pot head. https://t.co/utlfl7mr4k

So, please take note when you’re off to get them gains bruh (or work on your fitness or whatever!) and smoke weed responsibly.
Brittany Benz recently noticed that her dog can read her every move.
my dogs think we’re going somewhere whenever i put on clothes ?
— ButteryBubbleButt (@BrittanyBenz_) April 25, 2019
This truly cracks me up. I, too, have a dog that knows what “going out pants” are and what “stay at home pants/no pants” means.
Next, Sydney Leathers shares a common therapy-goer issue.
I showed up to therapy half an hour before my appointment because my anxiety makes me obsessed with being early to everything. why am I like this ???♀️
— Sydney Leathers (@sydneyelainexo) April 29, 2019
I understand and feel this, as I am sure do many other therapy-goers out there. We feel you, and you’re most definitely not alone.
In community news, there’s two things we wanted to draw your attention to, too.
We at YNOT — both here are YNOT Cam and on our main site YNOT.com — are on basically a constant tirade about social media’s uneven, inconsistent terms & conditions enforcement. What’s okay Kardashian/Jenners, hate groups and Insta models is *not* okay for members of the sex work community, at least not on the basis of their policy enforcement patterns.
As such, we noticed that performer Alana Evans and the APAG (Adult Performer Actors Guild) Union are calling out for a class action suit. There is a lot to this process here and with this potential initiative, but we admire Evans’ efforts and general stand up/call out efforts.
We are about to hit the 500 mark! 500 adult Performers, cam performers, and Sws have joined the fight against @instagram because their accounts have been wrongfully terminated, costing hundreds of thousands $$$ in lost revenue!! @APAGunion

Finally, a shameless plug. We are moving closer and closer to out #Cammunity model summit event! It’s in August in Hollywood, CA and happens in conjunction with the YNOT Cam Awards. To put it mildly, it’s going to be the most fun.

In case you missed the announcement, in conjunction with the YNOT Cam Awards this summer, #CAMMUNITY (the event) will take place at the W in Hollywood, CA from August 5 to 7 — and it's gonna be. so. awesome!https://t.co/50D34aeZqH#ynotcam

Let’s end today’s updates with another very common #mood from Catjira.
Trying to sleep my emotions away today then I’ll be on cam ?
— Catjira – Xbiz Miami (@catjiratv) April 29, 2019
And on that note, we’re going to take a nap, too. Let’s hope we’re all rested and ready for summer (!?) when we see you next time.
