Networking is important, as is making your presence known and letting your voice be heard. For the cam space, which exists in this interesting connected online/disconnected IRL state, showing up at community events becomes even more significant.
As such, consider attending this year’s Phoenix Forum — and extra consider attending YNOT Cam’s track of educational seminars held during the show.
The Phoenix Forum (TPF) — happening this month at the Tempe Mission Palms from March 28 through 30, with pre-show events on the 27th — is a premier educational/networking event for the adult business community. Unlike larger exhibit-style tradeshows, The Phoenix Forum is an exclusive private gathering, offering attendees a more relaxed networking environment. There’s a lot of food and fun events, and the desert in the springtime is glorious.
YNOT Cam’s cam seminar series — happening on Friday March 29 in the hotel’s Dolores Room – will be packed with seminars and activities designed to help models and B2B people navigate some interesting aspects of life online.
Here’s what we have planned:
Cam Modeling is a Business (10 AM)
At YNOT we like to say that camming is a lifestyle, and when performers find success there’s suddenly a lot of things to think about. We’ve assembled a panel of successful performers and cam experts to talk about the business side of the lifestyle, including topics like banking issues, accounting and tax concerns, healthcare and wellness, equipment, cam room setup, staying safe and even dealing with family and friends.
Make Your Cam Shows and Clips Amazing (11 AM)
If you want something, then you know there are other people who want it too. It’s the same with any business, but especially the entertainment industry. Performers need to make compelling content and host memorable shows to keep fans engaged and coming back. We’ve assembled a panel of webcam and clips artists to discuss different approaches to fan engagement, creating amazing and unforgettable content — and always leaving fans wanting more.
The Evolution of Live Cam Platforms (1 PM)
Live webcam platforms are constantly evolving. Whether it’s minor tweaks to the interface, adjustments in the overall business model or clever new features designed to help keep fans engaged, the top live cam networks are always working to improve their platforms for both performers and fans. In this panel, we’ll hear from top representatives from some of the biggest live cam networks about recent changes they’ve made and what’s coming up in 2019.
Attracting More Fans and Building Your Brand (2 PM)
As more mainstream platforms remove sex workers or generally do icky stuff, it’s important to talk about the bigger picture of marketing and branding in 2019. What platforms work best for performers, and what are some pitfalls to avoid? Also, how can performers build up their own brands and properties to reduce their reliance on tenuous relationships with mainstream companies like Facebook/Instagram or Twitter? A panel of performers share their thoughts on the realities of marketing for live cam models and clips artists.
Come join in for the learnin’ and stay for the fun! (The Phoenix Forum is really, really fun.)
