Lighting
Bare Basics: USB Webcam Ring Light (~$19-$30)
You can pick up one of these anywhere online. To put it simply, they are just miniature versions of vanity lights that actors use when applying stage makeup. They’re great for up-close lighting and are usually powered by USB, so no batteries needed here.

Bare Basics: Basic Bedsheets (~$15)
Starting out, you can absolutely get some cheap basic bedsheets and comforters to spruce up your cam space. Let’s be real — nobody is watching you to critique your linen choices.

Lingerie
Bare Basics: Cheap Lingerie (~$5-40)
We strongly suggest going out and getting at least a few pieces or sets of lingerie if you don’t already have some. A few panties and bras and perhaps a bustier with some stockings and a garter belt. Experiment with styles that you like and styles that put you outside of your comfort zone.
Cheap lingerie may not be the most comfortable or pretty, but it’s better than wearing granny panties on stage, am I right?

Maybe this writer is a bit biased, but Playful Promises manufacturers some of the best lingerie out there. Not only does this United States-based brand carry lingerie that is actually beautiful for plus-sized wearers, but they also carry gorgeous vintage-inspired accessories that can take any lingerie set from pretty to drop-dead gorgeous. Their pieces aren’t cheap, that’s for sure, but they’re certainly worth saving up for.
