YNOT Events has opened media registration for The YNOT Cam Awards! This means that eligible media can submit requests for media credentials to cover the adult interactive-focused event on October 24.
Approved media outlets and writers/reporters will gain complimentary access to all phases of the show, including the red carpet event on Vine Street, the pre-show entertainment featuring comedian Kelsey Cook, the awards show itself and the afterparty.
The eligibility requirements and the press pass registration form can be found on the YNOT Cam Awards website.
For this of you who may not have been paying attention, interactive is powering today’s modern adult entertainment industry — and it’s only continuing to grow. Performers of diverse backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, body types and ages are finding success as live cam performers and custom clips artists. The #cammunity is a story worth talking about — both for business and commerce reasons and for the sake of evaluating trends in entertainment, but also for its social implications.
Historically (and even still to this day), a lot of media coverage of the adult entertainment industry has focused on either video personalities (read: porn stars) or viral, clickbait news. Since the YNOT Cam awards are not about all that, the hope is for media looking to showcase a different side of adult entertainment.
“[W]hen it comes to adult entertainment, video is only part of the story,” explained YNOT CEO Connor Young.
“Our event focuses on the stars from the adult interactive sector of the business, which is where most fans are spending their money these days. There are exciting new things happening with interactive, developments that have both an economic and social impact that’s really very positive in a variety of ways,” Young added.
A total of 95 interactive performers have been nominated for a YNOT Cam Award, which spans 19 categories. The show’s live audience will consist of nominees and their guests, sponsors and executives from webcam networks, studios and custom clips stores. Representatives from peripheral services like adult novelties and technical services companies will also be in the house.
Top sponsoring companies include ImLive, Chaturbate, Studio20 and Flirt4Free. Additional sponsors include iWantEmpire, FreeWebcams and Terpon. Non-sponsoring companies also being represented by nominees in attendance will include Cam4, Streamate, MyFreeCams, ManyVids, Naked, Clips4Sale, Jasmin, CamGirlDollHouse, JAHLONLINE, CamSoda, AJ Estudios, StripChat and MyDirtyHobby.
While the event’s live audience will include community members and qualified media only, the red carpet and award ceremony phases of the evening will be live-streamed for free to fans around the world.
It’s exciting!
