Welcome to #Cammunity Chatter, an occasional roundup of some of the best and sassiest social media statements that speak.
We’re starting this week off with some evergreen advice from Jayda Jacobs.
I’ve said this before, but I’m going to say it again. It’s not necessary to speak over others when they’re having a discussion about their experiences. If women are having a convo about our experiences, men jumping in with “but men too” doesn’t add value to the discussion ⤵️
— ?? Jayda Jacobs?? (@jaydajusa) August 18, 2018
This entire thread is 100 percent perfection. And although we wish Jayda didn’t have to say this, we’re super happy she did. So, keep speaking this truth, Jayda! We’re happy you’re so vocal.
Next up is Goddess Lilith venting some on-the-job frustration.
Fulfilling men’s fantasies all day long is fucking draining.
Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

I can only imagine how frustrating and tiring some of your days are, Lilith! I’m just happy that you’re able to recognize when you’re tired and take a break when you need it. I hope that since this tweet published you got some much needed zzzzzzs.
Janice Griffith has some very strong and important opinions about a certain word.
i hate being called innocent, i hate the fetishization of innocence and therefore corruption it is gross keep it away from me (if that’s ur kink that’s cool but it’s for sure not mine and u do not have my consent to make me participate in it)
— janice (@rejaniced) August 21, 2018
We could not have said this better, Janice. If you don’t like being called a word—especially a word that is incredibly charged—then speak up. And she’s right. If it’s your kink, it’s fine, but don’t place your kink on someone else without their consent.
Next, Melody Kush gushes about loving practical gifts.
Practical gifts may seem less personal but the truth is they're the BEST. Thank you to all my people who are seriously the best gifters EVER ? you help me be a better model and always help take myself to the next level, and for that I thank you.
— ?Mello Yello? (@MelodyKush) August 21, 2018
I know this isn’t a sassy statement, but she makes a great point. Practical gifts are amazing. Also, this is a great piece of advice to keep in mind, especially since gift giving season is *technically* right around the corner.
And let’s finish up with some dog love from Catjira.
My dog has shown me more love, understanding, and compassion than most humans I’ve encountered this year. I got lucky when I adopted her. She’s done nothing but hug me all day.

Hell, yes! I hear you, and I agree with you. In fact, I’m going to stop writing and give my pups some love right now…
See you all here again in September!
