Sports fans know this: “You’ll never walk alone” is the slogan of an English football team. Fewer people know that a similar sentiment — “We succeed together” — is the motto of Studio20. But for the #girlsfromstudio20, both those mottos are real life.
July 30 was #FriendshipDay. In anticipation of the day, Studio20 models were asked to prepare photos of and with their best friends. To our surprise and delight, the pictures all turned to be with other models from Studio20!
That’s the moment when we smiled and realized we actually did something great: We turned what once was a very lonely job that required you to sit in front of your computer and talk to strangers all day into a sort of sorority.
The #girlsfromstudio20 hashtag started as a project with the goal of wanting to help cam models from Studio20 grow together, offering them the possibility of creating bonds, traveling together, supporting each other and giving models a safe place to be.
Of course, having people that do the same job and are in a way competing with each other can have its downfalls, but we took that chance. We are firm believers that women that empower each other grow much nicer than the ones that shut each other down.
The #girlsfromstudio20 started traveling together to industry events, cheered for one another when one of them went on stage and more — and you could see the happiness in their eyes every time one of them won something. We saw models’ friendships grow. People started going out together and having fun. Their incomes grew, and their confidence grew. It was a machine that we created, and it was just amazing.
Who is Your Best Friend?
For #FriendshipDay, we asked a few models to tell us what they appreciate in another.
“For me, having Devious as a best friend was the greatest gift I could ever receive. We just clicked and when we opened DoubleD studio together, it just felt right. She’s one of the hardest workers I know and even when she has her off days, she still can keep a smile on her face and make other feel good about themselves,” said Raquelle Diva.

“I was young starting in this industry and when I first came to Studio20, I thought it was weird that the girls were so friendly and I have to admit, I was a bit nervous to share with them my experiences and things from my life,” Megan Kroft said.
“But then I saw this amazing beautiful woman who didn’t speak that much and that everyone admired. Sassha Red has the spirit of a Russian princess trapped in the body of a goddess. It’s hard to pinpoint one thing that I appreciate about her, but if I were to choose, I’d say it’s her big heart. She just spreads love and she’s very deep, incredibly intelligent and always the funniest,” she added.

“Madelene Ray was this shy girl when I first met her. And I loved how she transformed into this full of confidence woman. She’s so powerful, has a great laugh and I know a great laugh when I see it, because mine is just as crazy. I really like the way she holds herself up every time, the fact that she does it with her head held high. It’s rare to see this in someone so young as she is,” said Ava Mistique.
Sometimes, work can bring you unforgettable gifts — like your best friend. But when you think about how much we all have in common, common goals and common interests, it’s really not that surprising. The best part is working together!
