Welcome to #Cammunity Chatter, an occasional roundup of some of the best and sassiest social media statements that speak.
We’re starting off this week’s post with a very real tweet concerning mental health and cleaning.
having a maid is very new to me and i don’t know why i ever lived without one as soon as i could afford it. mental health who? my dishes are clean and it didn’t take me 4 hours of pep talks to myself

Janice Griffith makes a great point about paying for luxuries. There are so many people who find it impossible to clean when they are in the midst of a mental health episode. So, paying for this seemingly small service is such a big, positive self care action.
Next up, Lindsey Banks has a few words for ridiculous white people.
When a white person says they can’t be around me because they get “anxieties” ?
Bitch. You ain’t a thing to me. Just another racist. Kiss my BROWN ass!#Latina & #Proud pic.twitter.com/h0pi5lc9tT— Lindsey Banks ? (@Banksie231) May 5, 2018
I mean, I wish I could say I’m surprised by many white peoples’ stupidity, but alas, I am not. So, good for your, Lindsey. I’m super happy you’re out here—and by here, I mean Twitter—calling out people for their racist ridiculousness.
And Kali has another great thought concerning the dreaded ignorant “white middle class feminist academic.”
White middle class feminist academics who have NEVER actually done any sex work and the like say sex workers who advocate for themselves are not representative of the ENTIRE sex worker community but then promote their own research/theories as more representative. like, wtf.

She’s right. People — especially those white middle class feminist academics she’s referencing — really should shut the hell up about things in which they know nothing about.
Next, Becky LeSabre reminds us that the best season of all time (I may be biased here) is right around the corner… Fall. (It’s almost here again, right? Right?!)
It will be fall again in NO time… I love it when the weather is just cool enough to need a light jacket. What is your favorite time of the year? pic.twitter.com/RSyshBvLg8

Now, I understand we all just bid a very cold winter ado, but it’s already hitting 90 degrees in my midwestern town. So, yes, Becky—I agree. I love it when it’s just cold enough to wear a light jacket, too.
And we’re ending with some majorly positive vibes from Fat Gal Yonce,
Good night ❤️ remember to include those that are not as blessed as you in your prayers…those who went to bed hungry and those living in improper settlements without any blankets or heaters to keep them warm. God be with them.

We hope all of you have a great weekend!
