Yes, Valentine’s Day can be stressful, strange, sarcastic and superficial. But Valentine’s Day is also one of the best times of year to capitalize on fun, creative and sexy looks for your cam persona.
To help you get your cupid on, we’ve rounded up a handful of super cute and quirky Valentine’s Day makeup looks.
Classic Valentine’s Day with a modern twist
We’re going to start off with two looks that are classic — and that also look good on camera and IRL.
First, the simple matte red lip. A red lip can make any simple makeup scheme look better. We like this particular look because of the artist’s subtle use of eye glitter. The glitter has a pink iridescent shine that brings a playful sexiness to this Valentine’s Day look.
In the same “classic” vein, nothing looks cuter than a lovely light pink lip. Pair this lip color with modern pink eye makeup, and you’ll achieve an off-the-charts-level baby doll look for your fans.
A statement-eye look
If you have a steady hand and fans who enjoy your carefree attitude, you may want to try and execute one of the following looks.
First up is “the playful rose.” To achieve this, you must have the ability to paint with precision. Although we love how this artist drew a near immaculate row of tiny roses below her brow, you could easily amend it and just have one rose at either edge of your eye. And if you’d rather do a different color than red, pink and purple would look great, too.
This next look will require a bit more eyeshadow-blending prowess. We love how this artist blends the red, black and pink eye shadow to create a smoldering hot V-Day look. Also: That conversational heart! It’s a seasonal way to send the message that yes, you’re cute, but you don’t take shit from anyone.
We suggest pairing the statement-eye looks with a glossy lip.
Bold lip with a glittery finish
This look is a bit different from the above in that it calls for you to draw attention to your lips. Also: Wherever you want glitter to accent your body.
We love this lip look because it can be replicated with any lipstick color combination. Combine it with some of this glitter. Place it on your stomach, nipples or anywhere else, and you’ll have concocted an unforgettable Valentine’s Day look.
Far-out Valentine’s Day funk
We admit that these looks aren’t for every model or every cam fan, but if you and your viewers are game—and into some far-out, punk inspired looks, you could have a lot of fun with the following makeup schemes.
First, let’s marvel at this artist’s ability to play with color. This rainbow-inspired Valentine’s Day look will take a long time to complete, but it could be a magnificent look to play with if you have any fans who love fantasy and role-play.
And finally, this look is basically a better version of the quintessential Valentine’s Day cupid. If you choose to try this look, have fun.
