Interactive technology developer Kiiroo and sex toy manufacturer COTR Inc. have partnered to add remote-control capabilities to COTR’s recently debuted ride-on sex machine, The Cowgirl.
Kiiroo, a leader in the teledildonics industry since 2013, creates products that operate at the intersection of technology and intimacy. In previously released press material, Kiiroo Chief Executive Officer Toon Timmermans explained, “Kiiroo is constantly searching for new technologies that fit our brand’s standards of innovation. The Cowgirl encompasses technology that only a handful of products on the market have.
“We are happy that we have combined forces to make this device interactive and give our users a unique, interactive experience,” he added.
That’s what’s special about The Cowgirl. It’s similar to the iconic Sybian.
Both Kiiroo and COTR are especially enthusiastic about The Cowgirl’s potential to enhance the cam space, including your cam room, but we wanted to know how, exactly.
We asked COTR founder and CEO Alicia Sinclair how The Cowgirl is specifically useful for cam. According to Sinclair, The Cowgirl’s cam potential comes down to one thing –- interactivity — which comes in the form of tipping and control via remote teledildonic device and app.
“The Cowgirl has been optimized to work on tipping, just like the Kiiroo products on webcam sites,” Sinclair explained. “This means that when the cam performer is online, their pleasure can be controlled by their viewer’s tips –- the higher the tip, the higher the vibration intensity.”
The Cowgirl also can be controlled by a Kiiroo interactive teledildonic device.
“It is important to note that there is no two-way connection,” Sinclair said. “This means that a Kiiroo device can control The Cowgirl, but The Cowgirl cannot control another interactive device. This makes private shows more intimate and fun for the viewers” –- presumably because the viewers have control over the model’s pleasure.
Users can control the Cowgirl’s vibration intensities with Kiiroo’s interactive FeelConnect/FeelPerformer smartphone app, which allows the device to be controlled remotely from anywhere in the world. Users can also control The Cowgirl’s vibration via the browsers of some cam sites.
“The user controlling The Cowgirl in this way does not need an interactive device to join in the fun,” Sinclair said.
One additional interesting feature: The Cowgirl can be connected to content (like, it plays along with porn), but according to Sinclair this feature is not optimal yet. Other future improvements include the ability to record interactive webcam sessions, as well as remote independent control of The Cowgirl’s vibration and rotation functions.
There was no word on interactivity and connectivity issues, which can make or break teledildonic toys of this type, and price also may be a concern.
Though potentially super-cool and novel, The Cowgirl is not an inexpensive item. In fact, according to Sinclair, The Cowgirl offers retailers profits of as much as $1,000 per sale. This means the sales price is appreciably higher. We wanted to know if COTR offered any incentives to models in these early launch days to encourage adoption.
“We are offering models the opportunity to purchase the product at 50 percent off the retail price. We will honor this through January of 2018,” Sinclair said. “Models should email me directly to pre-order the product. We anticipate shipping within the next 60 days.
“There are no other internet-connected sex machines on the market,” she added. “The Cowgirl’s capabilities for online interaction and long-distance play are the first of its kind.”
Email Alicia Sinclair your questions about The Cowgirl. A whole world of interactive possibilities may await!
