Sometimes all you need to create an unforgettable halloween costume is an amazing makeup look.
Because you perform on cam, you may opt to wear a killer makeup “look” this Halloween rather than a full costume. So, to help you decide what creature, thing or person you’d like to portray, we’ve rounded by four Halloween makeup looks that are perfect for your night in or out.
Few things are cuter — or more seasonal — than this scare-a-crow makeup look.
To achieve it, simply apply a black cat eye with liquid liner, apply a thick layer of jet-black mascara (or apply some fake eye lashes), and add a thick layer of black matte lipstick.
After applying your eye makeup and lipstick, add a nose and some “stitched” on lines. Fill in with orange or coral blush, lipstick, or makeup from a Halloween store, or stage makeup. Do the same to add color to your cheeks.
Add to the scare-a-crow look by wearing a straw hat — and little else — on cam. If you’re going out, simply wear a flannel shirt over some overalls or a denim mini skirt to finish your ensemble.
Although this is the simplest look on the list, it’s the most versatile. You can wear it in or out, during the day or at night.
To look like America’s modern goth queen, simply apply a black lip and smoky eye, and draw in some thick, darker-than-your-color brows. You can always wear a black wig with the hair braided if you want to commit. Or, you simply can wear your hair as is.
For an on-cam look, wear Wednesday’s signature white shirt sans anything underneath. For going out, pair the shirt with a black sweater, skirt, tights and boots.
If you’ve got a steady eye and a talent for drawing, you can achieve this cute, artsy look.
Feel free to make this look all your own by changing up the eye shadow. Maybe use a little green on your lower lid to bring out the cat’s eyes. Or go for an all-over black eye and a cute, orange cat.
If you want to change up the art on your eyelid, consider drawing on a pumpkin, witch’s hat, vampire, Frankenstein, or spider.
Pair this look with any matching undergarment. Anything black, orange, green or purple would work. If you’re going out, simply wear some black leggings and a black crop top to make the look pop.
You’re going to need an awful lot of black face paint to achieve this look, but if you have the artist chops to pull it off, it’ll be worth it.
You can wear this look as it’s pictured in the photo — with smoky-blue eye shadow and black liner, wax-styled eyebrows, and a pale-beige lip, or you can have fun with it. Apply any one thing you like from a classic Ouija board: the numbers, the “Hello” or Goodbye,” anything. Any type of makeup — a red lip, black lip, etc. — will look great. Just make sure to forgo any blush, as it would detract from your overall artistry.
This look could really work in your cam room. You could add other aspects of the Ouija board to your stomach or breasts. If you’re going out, we’d pair this look with a simple, all-over-black look, too. A black crop top and leggings would look great.
