Lingerie is a must for any cam model. It’s your uniform, your armor, the thing that turns “everyday you” into “sex-bomb you.”
Picking the right lingerie for your persona is essential to helping you create the spell you cast every time you login. Even if you have oodles of sexy little things you regularly don for your fans, it’s never a bad idea to refresh your collection to add a little unique spice to your show.
Here are a few interesting brands and lines to consider.
Origami Customs: for any body, any gender
Origami Customs opened in 2010. Since its founding, the lingerie, activewear and swimwear company has made custom-fit, handmade pieces. Origami makes all of its items according to a person’s unique measurements.
Rachel Hill, owner, designer and manufacturer, launched the company while working as a SCUBA diving instructor in Honduras. “I found out that in order to have good-quality, custom-fit swimsuits, I would need to make them myself because they weren’t available,” Hill said.
“As I gained practice and skill, I realized that my friend group, being mostly gender-diverse and -queer, were looking for specific types of styles and garments that weren’t available on the market,” she continued. “I quickly expanded to include lingerie, specializing in gender-affirming pieces.”
Hill is dedicated to offering every item for every body, which means she will serve any size for any gender presentation and provide options for people with limited mobility or other body needs. “I’ve been clear from the start that all of this custom patterning and design would always be included in the cost,” she said.
“My items aren’t gendered,” she continued. “I tailor each style to fit the individual. It’s all done in an ethical way, with reclaimed or socially conscious materials and production. I think that makes my brand pretty special.”
Because all Origami originals are custom-made, they may be a perfect choice for models who are LGBTQIA+ or who aren’t between the sizes of 0 through 14.
Agent Provocateur: for the person with a little extra cash
Agent Provocateur is the site to visit if you aren’t afraid to pay a lot of money for a classically sexy piece of lingerie.
Joe Corre and Serena Rees founded the high-end brand in 1994. They boast the brand breaks new ground each time it releases a new collection.
Sarah Shotton was named creative director of Agent Provocateur in March 2010. Since then, Shotton has made it her goal to create collections that are streamlined and seasonal.
In addition to continually creating diverse collections, the company is dedicated to sourcing from other companies that practice ethical trading and sourcing.
Agent Provocateur may be a great choice for any model who makes a lot of bank — or who has a lot of high-paying fans willing to help them buy a special, sexy something.
Fetasia Latex: for the model who does kink or cosplay
Fetasia Latex, an Etsy shop, specializes in anything and everything latex-, cosplay- and bondage-related. The company launched in 2010 when Leafie, one of the shop’s owners, realized almost every piece of latex she bought was too loose. So, Leafie and Dix McKinney combined their fashion and art backgrounds and began making sized and custom-fit latex outfits.
Fetasia Latex, based in Leeds, England, sells latex accessories, dresses, corsets, jackets, menswear and more.
The shop may work well for any model who enjoys kink or cosplay. I just perused the site for a bit and found a latex nun outfit and a Catwoman hat any fan would flip over.
On The Inside: for the Earth-friendly model who loves saving cash
On The Inside, an Asheville, North Carolina, lingerie boutique Etsy shop, makes comfortable lingerie by hand. Elise Olson, the shop’s owner, lingerie maker and designer, and curator, creates pieces from the “finest laces” and “sustainable fabrics.”
Olson has operated her shop since 2006. She’s a self-taught seamstress and enjoys combining different colors and fabrics — so, if you want a custom-made piece, don’t be afraid to get creative.
Olson utilizes organic cotton and bamboo, as well as other materials, to ensure customers get the best fit for a fair price while remaining environmentally sustainable.
On The Inside may be a good fit for any model who wants an economical lingerie set that still feels amazing.
The New Suzy: for the model who likes sexy loungewear
Suzy Black, owner of The New Suzy, learned about the power and fun of lacy lingerie from her mother. That education led her to create her store and brand, a sexy sanctuary filled with feminine frills that look wonderful on the human body.
The shop offers unique styles. It features many interesting items, including a bodysuit with fluttery shorts; a sexy, flowing tie gown; and lace harem pants.
The New Suzy may be right for you if you like sporting lounge-inspired lingerie that can go from brunch room to bedroom. The designs would work well for the model who does mundane tasks on cam during the day but wants to look great doing them.
