As a performer and model, sooner or later you will need to know how to read, understand and use the information provided by cam sites and, actually, sooner is better than later in this case. There’s no way to remember every detail about your public and private shows in a year, much less in five. Camming on more than one network makes things even more complicated, as every platform has its own quirks and processes.
L0li_Cam — experienced model, marketing guru, and cam coach — offered some advice and tips about how to keep track of your work data. Start today. Like, right now.

“The five minutes you’re going to take to figure out a work-tracking system will save you so much time and energy down the road — and it will allow you, of course, to make more money,” L0li explained. “Here’s how you can do an effective follow-up of your broadcasts — every single one.”
There are different tools you can use to keep track of your data, from Excel to an actual paper notebook to the Notes function on your phone. Start a recording system now, and you can refine it as you go along.
“I personally really like Excel, but when I started, a notebook was the only thing I had,” L0li said. “This is perfectly fine. It may take you a little longer, but it does the job just as well.”
Per L0li, in Excel you will want to add the following fields:
Date
Private or public (show type)
Time start
Time end
Tippers
TKN \ coin \money
Goal
Notes
Total tip
L0li Tip: Don’t hesitate to personalize this list and the fields so your spreadsheet suits your show or your overall needs.
Your basic spreadsheet should look something like this:
After each show, take time to download or copy the tipping history of your show. Add notes in that document, too. It should look like this:
After a while, your data sheet will become really useful. By selecting the first row and clicking on the data filter, your data will start to reveal best tippers, best time to broadcast and what people wanted in private shows. You’ll also learn more about your fans and what they like.
“This is just an example of the kinds of data points that were useful to me. You can modify it however makes sense and is useful to you,” L0li said. “But regardless of exactly what you keep track of, keeping track in some way is the best way to do a follow up of your show, get the most out of it and promote it.”
“Whatever works for you, keeping track of your broadcasts is the best way to manage your time and improve your shows,” she added.
