A former full-time stripper, Shotzy Monroe initially went into camming in order to earn extra money for times when she had bad days at the club. Now she’s a full-time cammer. Some of her most profitable cam shows haven’t involved sex at all; in others, she and friends have performed what she calls “cheesy” shows for appreciate audiences. I’m a vivacious, fun, genuine, extremely sexually free individual who loves people and did not want to conform to a predictable, society-acceptable lifestyle.
How long have you been camping?
I had been stripping full time since 2008 and was looking for another source of income for when I would have bad weeks at the strip club. So, I joined MyFreeCams in the spring of 2013.
What is the best thing about camming?
I love that I can drink and smoke weed while I’m camming. I have had to work boring jobs before, and it makes me hate life. When I cam, I can be sexual and fun and go at my own pace, which is very appealing to me.
What’s the most challenging thing about being a model?
Keeping up with fans and emails and content. You really have to be on your email game and be knowledgeable of lots of different websites and formats and making quality content people want to buy.
What advice would you give to a new model?
Find out what your sexuality is — whether you are submissive or dominant; whether you want to do lots of girl-on-girl or are willing to do boy-girl stuff. What are you willing to do? Make your brand around that so you can create an audience that is unique to you and what you have to offer. There’s no reason to try doing things sexually you are not comfortable with. There are so many fetishes out there. You just have to do your research.
What’s the most fun you’ve had on cam?
Me and a close girlfriend of mine, former porn starlet Farrah Rae, did a webcam show together on MyFreeCams where we played cowboys and Indians! Let’s just say it was a little bit cheesy but a big hit. The room had us cum so many times we were able to both sell our underwear from that show for a hefty price.
What’s the weirdest request you ever got? Did you do it?
The weirdest by far was the guy that wanted to talk about me and my friend in dressing rooms, changing clothes. He never asked me to talk about being sexual with her in any way but just how her body looked naked and how old she was and that she must be very beautiful. Yes, I did do it. It was mostly me talking with a little bit of pussy play and yes, very weird.
